Pupils in stitches with the Women's Institute

ROBERTTOWN'S knitting club has just celebrated its 15th year.
Members of the village's Women's Institute have taught pupils from Roberttown Junior and Infant School how to 'knit one purl one' in their dinner hours for well over a decade and the ladies are looking forward to tutoring their next batch of knitters in September.
Roberttown and District Women's Institute members including Pat Woodhouse, Brenda Stone, Joyce Jones and Margaret Morrison have helped students make a variety of woollen marvels over the years, including their own teddy bears.
